Firmly pseudo-contractive mappings and fixed points

چکیده
We give some fixed point theorems for firmly pseudo-contractive mappings defined on nonconvex subsets of a Banach space. We also prove some fixed point results for firmly pseudo-contractive mappings with unbounded nonconvex domain in a reflexive Banach space.

In this paper we introduce the concept of generalized weakly contractiveness for a pair of multivalued mappings in a metric space. We then prove the existence of a common fixed point for such mappings in a complete metric space. In this paper, we give a fixed point theorem for $(psi,varphi)$-weakly contractive mappings in complete $b$-metric spaces. We also give a common fixed point theorem for such mappings in complete $b$-metric spaces via altering functions. The given results generalize two known results in the setting of metric spaces. Two examples are given to verify the given results.
